Frequently asked
questions
If you want to combine two photos in one frame, start by uploading a base image to Colorcinch. You can use virtually any image format.
Then, navigate to Image Manager and upload any other photos you wish to combine. Once uploaded, you can drag and drop the images onto your canvas, resize and rotate, and arrange them in any way you like. When done, hit Save. Well done, you’ve merged your photos into one!
Sometimes when you merge two pictures together, the picture can feel cluttered. If your base image is distracting, consider giving it a subtle blur. You can do so by navigating to Edit – Details. Applying a blur will add depth of field to the background and help your images stand out. A lighter background color will make your image stand out when you merge two photos together.
Alternatively, if you wish to use a solid color as your base, navigate to the Draw menu and use a large brush to fill in the canvas with color.
Yes. You can easily add text after combining two images into one.
Head over to the Text menu and click on Add Text. Choose from the available formatting options to stylize your text.
A fun way to spice things up is to add graphics.
Head over to the Graphics menu and explore our vast collection of vector stickers to add to your project. You can then further customize each graphic by adjusting its size, angle, blend mode and more.
Click on the image that you want to re-order and select Layer Properties. You can then choose to move the image either forward or backward.
Alternatively, navigate to the Layers menu in the bottom right corner of the editor and rearrange the order of your image layers.
Colorcinch will intelligently snap to guides and automatically align your images with each other as you’re arranging them.
If you want to have an even greater control over the alignment, select an image and click on Layer Properties. From there, choose from a variety of alignment options.
You may want to merge images to create a collage or add images to a specific background photo.
